POLYURETHANE at high durometer readings, good elongation and high tensile strength are among the more outstanding characteristics of polyurethane rubber. In addition, POLYURETHANE offers excellent abrasion and tear strength plus good resistance to ozone and oxygen. Low coefficient of friction makes polyurethane suitable for many other applications.

POLYURETHANE rubber is not recommended for applications involving exposure to acids and alkalis, although resistance to aliphatic solvents and cold water are quite good. POLYURETHANE is not recommended for temperatures above 140 degrees F.
Polyurethane Chemical Designation: Polyester or Polyether Urethane
